This is my latest design, a Sailor Jerry Collins themed piece. If I get enough feedback this will be offered at a later date as a t-shirt design. The text in this piece “TAKE ME AWAY” is also a font that I created and will be up on this site at a later date.

Been Buying Books

Just that, been buying books. Lots of them. Not only do I have three new books on CSS, Scripting and HTML but I’ve also gathered several books on circus posters and woodcuts. So with that knowledge you might be able to assertain the direction of my webdesign and artwork.

I was considering posting a picture of all of them stacked nicely but I think everyone has a pretty good idea of what a book looks like. Also, technical manuals for the web do not have the most interesting jackets. If consumers actually judged their contents by their covers I’m sure that sales would be abismal.

New Website!

Not actually a new website, this is a new build, but we have added much to the previous design.

I have always been a practioner of the learn by doing mentality and I have learned quite a lot in the last few years. This current site design is, I believe the 5th learning endeavor and definately my best.

In addtion to the visual change of the 1850′s and Art Nouveauesque theme this new build incorporates a web log, an enhanced portfolio and most importantly more content! You might also notice that there is a Store section in the navigation. That is a feature that we will be adding in the future but we decided to wet your chops with the idea in the meantime. Of course, check back here for more details on updates on it, this site and Matt Stevenson’s progress.
