Matt Stevenson is a Houston native. He graduated in 2003 from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Since then he has professionally and academically pursued a career in graphic design.

Background

Matt specializes in illustration, design and is an artist in several fields. He has done design work for small houston businesses (including jewelry companies, coffee roasters and printing studios), production companies, t-shirt vendors and some local events. He has even reached national exposure with his work for Discovery.

Services

There are many artists and designers out there but there are few who are both. I am one of those few, I have an artistic talent and an eye for design. This gives me a broader toolset than most. Below are further details of my abilities for offer.

• Graphic Design
  I have over 6 years experience in graphic design and I have done everything from designing patches for the Boy Scouts of America to creating t-shirts for Discovery.
• Illustration
  Illustration is a blend of design and art. It is usually drawing, painting and sometimes photography that tells a story or represents something graphically. The work is usually seen as drawn book or magazine covers, posters, prints and apparel. My experience with illustration has led me to create graphic novels for independent films, collaborative books with other artists and venue posters using vintage themes for my own personal use.
• Web Design
  My most recent design foray. I have been designing for the web for the past two years. In addition to the design process I also do all of my own coding. This ensures that everything created is done completely in-house with the most control for the best product. In addition to designing this site and several previous treatments to it I am also in the process of designing two websites from the ground up for two Houston companies.
